Mallers mentioned normies (in the west) taking a dislike to Bitcoin. This is largely attributed to seedy, snake-oil affinity scams normies see as being associated with Bitcoin.

"Normies" by definition will not understand things. That's normal and it's okay. We often get the democratic urge to make people understand, turn them to our side, and imagining how great it would be if... Best thing an individual like you and me can do is to continue being awesome when we can.
