It's not the war in Iran that's costing the EU €500M a day, it's the politicians who decided against pushing for renewables and relying on gas and oil imports. And von der Leyen is among them. It's their fault for backing the fossil fuel industry, their fault for relying on regimes and war criminals, their fault and no one else's.
