I know drinking's not cool anymore but for those of us over 35 willing to admit that it's fun once in a while, here's my post-alcohol supplement stack for optimizing sleep after a night of self-inflicted poison:
1. Magnesium Glycinate about an hour before turning in
2. Lemon water + baking soda
2. 1 dropper of CBD oil just before bed
3. Glycine + CBD + Valerian Root in the middle of the night when you wake up with your heart pounding
4. Wash everything down with electrolyte water (sugar free)
5. Wake up, work out, spend quality time/breakfast with loved ones (for the oxytocin)
6. Suggest everyone leaves the house for a while, take more CBD, put in some ear plugs, and take a 90-min nap.
After all that, assuming I had no more than 3 drinks the night before, I've found that I can have an almost normal day.
One might think it's easier to just not drink; but the truth is it'd be even easier to just be 22 years old again.
