The green label on this cereal literally says: "Weniger Inhalt. Gleiche QualitΓ€t" (Less content. Same quality). They aren't even hiding it anymore. They blame "rising raw material costs," but we know the real culprit.

This is shrinkflation. It is when companies reduce the size or quantity of a product while keeping the price the same or even increasing it a bit.

This is the perfect way to start convincing the normies in your life about what is actually happening. Most people don't care about complex charts or CPI data, but they definitely care when their cereal box is 20% air.

It is the most visible symptom of monetary expansion. When the money supply is diluted, your purchasing power dies. First in your bank account, then on the grocery shelf.
