I am in that demographic age wise. But I built my own first computer in the 70s. All my computers run linux (well one Mac when I need that world for some reason). My phone is running grapheneos. I turn it off when I don't need it or want to be interrupted instead of having it track me 24/7 just on the off chance someone might call in the middle of the night. I give a shit about privacy and am expert in protecting it.
