I've never seen an HCI degree, had to look it up. Apparently it means Human Computer Interface. So, UI design? maybe some hardware focus too like input device design?
that seems rather specific. A friend of mine got a rather niche biology degree of some sort and realized it was worthless after he got out of college. Started his own machine shop in his garage.
Stop whining about no jobs, there are options.
