I don’t judge whether others have freedom of speech or not. Humans are social animals—there’s no such thing as absolute freedom. If what you say is accepted by the majority in your community, then you’re "free." If it isn’t, then you’re not. People aren’t as tolerant as they like to think, most just want to hear what they already agree with.
When you grow up inside a certain group, most of your words naturally align with those around you, so you feel like you have freedom of speech. But when you step into a completely different group, you may have to hold yourself back, because you might say something they can’t accept—and then face consequences.
The reason I make fun of the U.S. is simply because they like to judge others. Of course, I don’t mean all Americans—mainly their government and media. I know it’s meant to stir up division. It’s childish, but sadly, it works.
Try to be as tolerant as you can, and show as much respect as possible for other people’s cultures.
