I often think about the •feeling• of different countries and places—ones I've never visited. And then I wonder what people from other places think about the United States, New England (if they even know that it exists) and Massachusetts (likewise).

I mean, I think of New England as relatively old and cultured. But to a European, does it seem new and crude? I don't know! Although I've heard some Europeans say that New England seems rather European in some ways.

And, of course, there's a LOT more space here.
