Yeah i use my own stuff too, including milk and eggs. In fact i came up with this becausei had them and combined them.
About the tripod, nice to have it, but it is the less necessary item, since you can have cookware on the grill and fire underneath. If you want less heat, move the cookware on the side a bit. You might need more a tarp to block the wind, than a tripod. Just saying. In any case, you will enjoy. 🎉
