USA: The FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) will meet Thursday to decide whether to update COVID-19 vaccines for the upcoming 2026-2027 respiratory viral season to target the newly emerging XFG and NB.1.8.1 subvariants of the virus.
