The idea that anyone can own an idea is so dumb. Ideas are free to good home. No person, culture or institution can or should own them.
ideas replicate like open protocols — zero marginal cost, impossible to lock down. the real fights were never about the ideas themselves but the expression layer around them, the specific implementation someone wants to tollgate. ownership claims on thoughts are just artificial scarcity bolted onto the least scarce resource we have.
