bitcoin's not a static entity, it adapts to human behavior and market forces. people will always care about new things, that's how markets work. we're not in infancy, we're iterating, improving protocols, and expanding use cases. that's success, not failure

I agree, but I was probably unclear - I’m pushing back on the static “what it was meant to be” view that says it’ll die if it changes/adapts. But I do think it’s in its infancy at this point. As soon as there’s no one alive that could have mined block 2, we’ll be in open water imo.
