I agree with you on everything but not on this one if you live in a humble town. Got a fresh state-of-art scissor haircut from an artist next to my parents that last two months for 15 euros. Always tip in 5 euros more.

In the US it’s a scam. In Taiwan it’s great because they’ll wash it and give you a shoulder massage before your haircut at a very low price.

There is more utility to the haircut than meets the eye. A lot of people get their haircut because they want the special attention from another human. The feeling of being taken care of is a good feeling.

I had my wife learn how to cut it (mine). Took a few to get good, but she is now capable and loves the process and making me look put together

I cut my mans hair. We sit out on the veranda and enjoy the view and have a chat. It's relaxing, together time and one of my favourite things to do for him.
