i don’t know who needs to hear this but an encrypted group chat is only as secure as its weakest member
if one person is compromised, the whole chat is compromised
Literally thought this earlier this am when I observed this message at one of the local communities I follow... I thought, ok the time is coming to introduce encrypted group chat (when those start functioning)... When communities everywhere begin to create these types of groups. But does it even matter... When they can easily be infiltrated still?!?
