Alternative would be to make sovereign-run local LLMs as accessible to use as possible.
Unfortunately the hardware price hikes aren’t likely to stop anytime soon.
Whilst this might sound crazy, I think the manufacturing of some of the hardware components definitely needs to be decentralized or else, the insane competition with AI companies for hardware will continue driving prices up. That's assuming that's the real problem
