The symptoms vary, but psychosis seems to be a good term for it. Psychologists are analyzing chat logs to try and explain it better. A common symptom I've seen mentioned is grandiosity. If you do some research on what seems to be a new religion, called 'spriralism' it seems a lot of its adherents are in some state of this psychosis. Not trying to fear monger or be alarmist.
