What stops you from acknowledging the fact that core devs are either incompetent at best or compromised at worst?
“core devs” are not a monolithic entity
its a bunch of random people, mostly volunteers, some have below market rate grants, trying their best
most are incredibly competent, some have shitty opinions, none that i know of are “compromised”
in this case, i personally think we should be giving node operators more options rather than less
opensats has been laser focused on this goal since inception, get more devs involved, give users more choice
