Dumb question maybe, but if I have global=all added to the filter, wouldn’t I already be seeing these new user posts?

Yes! You absolutely will. This just isolates them as sometimes they can get lost in the sauce otherwise.

And not a dumb question at all - I’d consider it a good one!
