A great comparison on a much smaller scale is the Jerry Sandusky scandal at Penn State. Im from Pennsylvania and Penn State alumni…at the time every alumni and penn state fan I knew defended Joe Paterno for protecting Sandusky because of what he did for their football team. I am willing to bet people will do the same for Trump as long as stocks are performong well.
