I love the concept of bringing bitcoin into the classrooms. I once even thought of designing a bitcoin curriculum for kids, to teach at my son's school, as an optional after-school activity. Unfortunately the idea never materialised because I could never find the time... 😔

That said, I have problems with sats as reward for homework. I think any sort of reward in the classroom kills intrinsic motivation, which is key for true learning, but that's a different topic...

What I had in mind was designing something fun and basic: setting up wallets, generating LN invoices, sending sats, spending sats on real stuff... Also, there are a few interesting bitcoin board games that I would have used, to keep them interested. To me, it was all about developing awareness, and awakening interest, in a fun and playful manner...

Thanks for the reply. I agree with you regarding sats as reward for homework but as a teacher this is already built into every school. One day students with be paid for Labour. They will also be rewarded now in school with fake points or merits for homework and behaviour so why not start the bitco...
