I was definitely not trying to scam anyone, that’s why I added the note and I also never initiated a return request for the speaker I kept.

More than likely some other customer will end up with the speaker you returned.
If you documented it, it's not on you.
Most people just take rocks, and fill the boxes up until they weigh approximately the same as the ordered item.
If I recall Amazon has somewhat tried to combat this by flagging frequent returners account, etc.
I don't work at Amazon but that's just what I've heard on how the process works.
