Is macOS Bluetooth going to be compatible with other platforms or is it going to be its own thing? Have you tried AWDL yet?

The focus now is indeed on interoperable transports, AWDL would be an optimisation for Mac. I haven't looked into that yet. So yes, Bluetooth will be compatible between MacOS, Android and Linux :)
