Did sci-fi writers predict what ai would become?
Or is ai being designed around our sci-fi expectations?

Had this exact conversation yesterday I think the founders of AI who haven't seen or read sci-fi have no idea what they are creating.
I think Elon and Bezos might be the best we got because we know they are into movies, video games and are geeks at heart.
