Have you evaluated Reticulum?🤔
Although I am still very novice in my understanding, it appears to me that Reticulum is the internet we've always wanted. The one, the internet should have been, if I understand it correctly, it will ultimately replace ALL of the software of the internet, including IP, and it will eliminate every centralizing, controlling, entity; for example, ICANN.
Like nostr, user identities will be cryptographically secured by asymmetric encryption. Any and all available transport mechanisms will be used, meshing the networks in every locale.
Routing will be fully automated, initial contact may be slow, but once nodes are in communication, the shortest path will be determined and future contacts will be very rapid.
