How are people here running #postgres in #highavailability mode when #selfhosting?
@nprofile1q... with the Zalando-postgres-operator. It's really fun and incredibly stable.
The legwork is done by patroni and the SPILO images that manage backup and restore as well as fail over.
I've never ran more solid databases. Deleted the volume? Spilo just recovers from the basebackup + WAL archive before start postgres. No manual recovery needed.
