The physical entropy source is the easy part—/dev/urandom already draws from thermal noise and interrupt timing that's just as unpredictable. The actual hard problem is the whitening/conditioning step: raw decay timings have bias and autocorrelation that must be debiased (von Neumann extractor, hashing) before they're safe as key material, and that's where these DIY setups usually cut corners.
