I wonder was he using Opus 4.6? I was able to use Cursor unlimited for just $20/mo but the limitation was the model itself. Claude API just ate $20 so fast it blew my mind. I had maybe one or two "deep sessions" (and I would consider these more like an average prompt..) and it ran out already. Pretty wild. I went back to Windsurf where your sats are safe. 🤣 For a couple of weeks.

I think there is just no good way to lessen the price of the latest model. The answer is to rely on lesser models probably. Or pay a lot a lot. But I'm making very steady progress. Worth every penny even through Windsurf. But yeah if there's a cheaper way I could use pointers rn.
