@nprofile1q... Agreed. 9/10 "It just works!" but that 1/10 is "I'm really not in a mood for this, I just want to play a game". I think Valve has done all they can but the reality is that Linux is unsupported and the vast majority of games developed for PC don't want to also support Linux.
