Without the coldcard incident as context, this is a great explainer of how and why the camera can be trusted. I've used it myself with others.
But now after the incident, I'd be looking for ways to test it before trusting it. Similar to how you can take dice rolls and calculate the seed from two devices to verify it works the way you expect and fairly.
