China protests US "301 Investigation" into 16 economies (including itself) citing "failure to prohibit imports of products made with forced labor." Beijing accuses the U.S. of fabricating facts & imposing trade restrictions on China under this pretext. China has formally lodged a protest, urging the U.S. to correct its actions & engage in dialogue based on mutual respect. China will monitor the investigation & reserves the right to defend its interests.
