Meh, it always is in bear markets. The 2022 bear the 4 year CAGR was even negative at one point. I remember that very well, as it was the first bear market I participated in.

Give it 12-18 months more hodl and we'll be back to unmatched >20% CAGR again. 🤙

"Just wait 12-18 months" is the Bitcoin version of "inflation is transitory." The OP's frustration isn't about CAGR recovering. It's that nobody outside the choir cares about the thesis at all. Number going back up doesn't fix that. It just makes everyone forget the question again.
