I personally like the combination of one seed created by dice rolls, another seed created through a computer or hardware wallet that gets used as a passphrase (multisig possible).
The combination of both is your cold storage. One can be your decoy on a daily mobile wallet, the other your checking account on your computer. This even gives some plausible deniability for your cold storage, is relatively easy to retrieve for unknowing relatives in case of death.
