Dare I say it, more of this needs to happen so that those ‘in power’ realise the consequences of their actions on the rest of us. I fear it will create a 2-tier society - those that are deemed ‘exempt’ from these databases by the nature of their work (in the name of national security or some such reason which will be a slippery slope) and the rest of us plebs who have to be registered and corralled.
