Iโve never really felt like Iโve benefitted from meditation. Every time I try it, I feel like it doesnโt do anything.
Here's a simple, effective technique i enjoy. Begin with 10 minutes and gradually extend as you become more adept. No special asana nor pranayama. Sit with eyes closed. On a chair, floor, whatever. Tirn head to right, breath in through nose filling lungs. Then breath out through mouth. Turn head to left and repeat. Place thumb and 4th finger on nose bridge between eyes. With index finger placed over 3rd eye/pineal point. Focus on point where index finger touches. When mind wanders tap 3rd eye with index finger to re-focus. Maintain focus on that point as long as you can. 10 minutes at least. End meditation slowly by opening eyes, than stand upright.
Never know, this basic but effective method might work for you. If not, search for alternative technique.
