Any advice for someone who just had their address exposed by trezor?
Assume that you will be targeted and take as many steps as you can to deter an attacker from choosing to pursue an attack on you… some recommendations below:
- daily concealed carry and train regularly with your firearm (if you are married then buy your woman a gun she likes and make the range a weekly date night)
- Geographically distribute your Seed(s) and/or Passphrase(s) and ensure to have a wrench attack honey pot in the event you have to give up something. Better to lose 5-10% than to lose it all, get killed, or have to watch a loved one be harmed
- If you do not have a guard dog then seriously think about getting one with protective instincts (pick the correct one from the litter with help of a pro and go with a solid breed for the job aka doberman or shepard / train the dog to obey and do its job)
- Security alarm system with camera clearly visible from street as deterrent
- harden entry points (steel door with deadbolt & extra long screws in frame / window locks with tamper/motion alarm)
- loaded shotgun next to the bed within easy reach (if you have children then obviously secure firearms appropriately for their age level)
- situational awareness will be your most important skill to learn / take some Krav Maga classes and some tactical urban firearm courses to learn how to react and move towards the threat
Godspeed 🙏🏼🫡
