Ignoring the public square, outside of North America ALL coordination happens on WhatsApp.
Moms groups, traffic police groups, raw milk, bars, doctors, lawyers, etc...
Facebook, Twitter, signal, iMe...
I have a pet peeve on WhatsApp. I have absolutely no reason to use it except to talk to my dad, who *does* use it. I'm trying to get everyone off of it, and go to Telegram, the other popular coordination app.
But I understand that Telegram is not much better in terms of privacy.
