The app force rewrites your relays, stating that it will remove your relays across your account even on other clients. I don't want to break my account to use the app. I also don't understand why it cannot simply add the apps relays over the existing package.

We only show these requests when a relay in your list is broken. If you have broken relays in your list then that slows down every client of every user who's viewing your posts.
