To be honest, I've mostly thought of the lack of notifications as more of a feature than a bug.
I get this.
If extra notifications are loke little dopamine hits that let us know our notes get reach... then psuedo-notifications like these are akin to getting street coke cut with baby powder.
Sometimes less is more.
