Can someone explain in terms the average person can understand, how Bitcoin transactions would continue to function during a power outage? I'd like to be able to defend this concept...
The power goes out.
My phone was already charged.
The phone towers have backup generators so the internet will stay on for 3-5 hours after the power goes out.
If you had solar and starlink you would be able to keep your phone charged and continue using the internet to do Bitcoin transactions when the phone towers backup generators run out of fuel.
Should keep some cash in case of emergencies like that, even if you can still use bitcoin, majority of people won't accept it as payment
