When I saw this in 2009, I pridicted that organizations would *own* the knowledge to recreate infrastructure and what are now the major cloud providers would be competing at commodity pricing. All orgs would analyze their needs and then simply express infrastructure with the flexibility to bring it home or ship to a choice of *aaS. I believed it to my bones.
