I could understand why you would want to use #monero instead of #Bitcoin onchain transactions, even if I still genuinely believe that BIPs like 352 will kill this shitcoin, but on a LN level ? These are off chain transactions, not traceable, we can even use LN as a DIY coinjoin, why would you want monero ?

(Bitcoin privacy is so bad that drug cartels use it to launder money and to store value, and the wealthiest human being(s) in Bitcoin is/are still unknown)

However, I agree that the only thing required to be viewable on the blockchain is the amount of sats right ? Not where the funds come from nor where they go, so we should just create a way to transfer sats without revealing the wallet addresses involved (on a onchain level I mean), BIPs like 352 are the way to go

Bitcoin is not private and is not fungible https://image.nostr.build/94f119fb1c19534c9c3172ce5c64ec968ab1f3653a0bdc5ed9bc6a27b602bec8.jpg

Drug cartels stopped using that fedcoin years ago, because it was hurting their business. Choice moved to Monero around 2017.
