Nostr has better incentives but imo the idea of no algos = automatically more gooder is flawed.

I think the algorithms in many cases are bad but they are in a way a boogeyman, excusing us from what they really are: a mirror. They show us what we want to see. If we are defective then the feed becomes more defective.

The best outcome is for technology to feed into our better natures but if I'm being real I think most of social media in general is fake and gay. There are cool people like you out there... but at the same time I would argue social media inherently an exercise in self aggrandizement much of the time. Nostr doesn't change that.
