They are changing sha256, but actual issue is that we don’t have emergency difficulty adjustment.
My proposal is that, If hash rate of whole world can’t find a block in one day, this should trigger emergency decrease in difficulty.
Normal difficulty will work as usual. This will help miners to think that if we leave network can still work with less difficulty. Market will decide which bitcoin is better.
