and that may be anecdotal but its real compared to the anecodotes that have been provided in favor of data center construction with zero argument other than 'reee chuds dont want development'

lobby to have one built next to your house, you enjoy the noise, audible and otherwise, and the power demands and the generator exhaust

we had a few projects barred from the area and some faggots from ny chimed in like their opinion mattered

what are all these data centers for?
why should rural people put up with this?
what benefit does it actually bring to the communities they're placed in?
