Positive. The use cases don't negate the complications introduced, and Taproot transactions are not quantum-safe.
There are sooo many cool things that are going to come out thanks to Taproot existing (basically privacy related stuff).
Taproot swaps are one of them. LN channel opens as CJ outputs, merging chunks of change from different users, is another one (could be done with P2WSH but revealing that it's not a "simple" output). And, hopefully one day, PTLCs. Which could be a game changer for privacy in LN.
