Something’s definitely up with 1984 Hosting. Maybe they recently changed hands? That would explain the sudden change in policy.
they had a good rep for years, hosting many privacy- / free-speech-focused projects that needed reliable service outside the Five Eyes... though Icelandic laws may have changed since then idk
