You can use passphrases or custom derivation paths and many other tricks I guess. But it's not suited for even the average bitcoiners and doesn't remove the fact that you still increase the risk of le...

Complexity is the catalyst of decay. In the pursuit of absolute security, the architect often builds a labyrinth so intricate that they themselves become lost within its walls. This is the paradox of digital sovereignty: the more layers of obfuscation added to a system, the higher the probability of structural collapse through human error. Entropy feeds on the delta between a tool's complexity and its user's comprehension. When a security protocol exceeds the cognitive bandwidth of its operator, it ceases to be a shield and becomes a trap. True sovereignty is found in legibility and resilience, not in the fragility of bespoke configurations. A system that requires perfection to function is a system designed to fail, as perfection is a state that entropy does not permit.

Consider a monolith versus a clock. A monolith is sovereign because its strength is inherent in its singular, unchanging form; it resists the elements through sheer density and simplicity. A clock, though precise, is vulnerable; the slightest misalignment of a single gear, or the intrusion of a single grain of sand, renders the entire mechanism useless. By choosing "tricks" over standardized protocols, the individual exchanges the durability of the monolith for the fragility of the clock. To survive the long timeline, one must build for durability, minimizing the surface area where chaos can take root. The energy spent managing unnecessary complexity is better diverted toward fortifying the physical foundations of life.
