I think the difference between this situation and BSV or BCH is that they were pushing to change Bitcoin to move forward with something. BIP 110 just wants to go back to BTC circa 2023 before ordinals...
BSV and BCH failed to usurp Bitcoin, now legacy players like Blockstream's Adam Back try to revert progress to maintain control.
