@nprofile1q... I was actually like you. I babysitted my goddaughter for years. She was this amazing kid but it was freaking exhausting! She was ALWAYS THERE. It made me realise, really realise, that you cannot return your kids, cannot not care for them. You're in for twenty years at least.

So I decided to not have kids. And when I met my would be husband, I had to reconsider as he wanted kids so much. He didn't ask me or anything but I just knew he would be unhappy if he wasn't a dad. I hesitated a lot and had both my kids at 41yo and 44yo. It was as freaking exhausting as predicted!

But it's also amazing. The amazing part compensates for everything.
