tbh most mob murders are in-house jobs so nobody really gives a shit. as Michael Franzese always says, you choose that life knowing what the likely outcome is. 99% of the guys they hit will have killed people themselves so, meh.
there's even an argument to be made the streets were safer when the mob ran things. pretty sure they wouldn't have put up with the gangs of kids that overrun malls and steal everything.
